About Us

Always dog lovers, many years ago we welcomed Bosworth (aka The Boo, Boz, Bozzer) into our home. And some years later, little Nellie joined our family, followed by our newest addition, Brookey. All Rat Terriers and all rescues, each of them came to us with different needs, requiring us to be extremely mindful of who we trusted to care for them. Boz had difficulty trusting strangers, Brookey was afraid of the outdoors and Nellie, well, let’s just say she’s a feisty gal who requires patient, loving care. We had trouble finding a reliable walker and one patient enough to establish a trusting relationship with our animals. Truly believing our dogs deserved the world, we decided to change our careers so our pups could come to work with us everyday. And now we own Tuckered Mutts where we can care for doggies and their distinct personalities and needs everyday. One thing our dogs have taught us: every pup is different, their needs are different and they respond differently in different situations. But they all deserve our love!
